Here is a list of all labels able to be put in to an Item while Forging in Capture the Flag, including minimal settings, effects, and Recommended items for some.

Required Labels for Capture the Flag

  1. “CTF_FLAG_RETURN” – This spawns the Flag and acts as the Goal for Capture the Flag
    1. Recommended Object:                 Flag Stand with Shape
      1. Not a Weapon/Vehicle or movable object
        1. Object will spawn a flag, not be the flag
        2. If the flag resets it will spawn where that labeled object is
        3. Objective can be carried/drove to/away to make the win easier or harder
  2. One per team
    1. Multi-Flag:                          Red, Blue, Green, Orange
    2. Neutral-Flag:                      Red, Blue, Green, Orange
    3. One-Flag:                            Red and Blue
  3. One Neutral
    1. Neutral-Flag:                      Neutral
  4. Must have a shape to work
    1. The shape sets where the teams must bring the opposing teams flag

Other Labels for Capture the Flag

  1. “CTF” – Set this label and “GAME-SPECIFIC” to “TRUE” will cause to only spawn in Capture the Flag and  Speedflag Games
  2. “TEAM_ONLY” – Set this label and “GAME-SPECIFIC” to “TRUE” will cause to only spawn in Team Games
  3. “CTF_RES_ZONE” – This is for spawning players in Capture the Flag
    1. MUST be a respawn zone or it will have no effect
    2. Active from the flag spawns/resets until it gets picked up the opposing team
    3. Team Specific – Only for Multi-Flag and One-Flag; see required labels for teams
    4. “CTF_RES_ZONE_AWAY” – This is a for spawning players in Capture the Flag
      1. MUST be a respawn zone or it will have no effect
      2. Active from the time the flag gets picked up by another team until the flag resets
      3. Team Specific – Only for Multi-Flag and One-Flag; not Neutral-Flag:  see notes for teams

  1. Multi-Flag:                          Symmetric Gametype
  2. Neutral-Flag:                      Symmetric Gametype
  3. One-Flag:                            Asymmetric Gametype

Notes for Capture the Flag

  1. If a team does not have at least one player their required assets will not spawn
  2. Multi-Flag supports Red, Blue, Green, and Orange
  3. Neutral-Flag supports Red, Blue, Green, and Orange
  4. One-Flag supports Red and Blue
  5. Capture the Flag got an updated version called Speedflag.  It uses all the same labels as Capture the Flag.  The only change is that players with the flag can attack like they do not have a flag, but they cannot drop the flag until they score or die.  Go to Speedflag for the link.
